Lunkuse Maria is a bright young girl in her second year of secondary education.

She was born on 7th,August,2008 and grew up with her grand parents, this was due to irresponsible of her parents who wanted her not attend school after primary four as both of them are not working and they have no support to pay for her education.

Maria as well has challenge of eyesight affecting her lifestyles and believing that education is the only way for her to become a responsible adult. Her grandparents are old and unable to work any more to support her and Maria is requesting for sponsorship to help with her studies and eyesight.

Ruth was born on 28th/Dec/2010 in Bitebe village Kalungu and is now 15years old. She is a bright girl joining third year of secondary education in 2026 but she is an orphan with no father.

Herself and the 06 siblings stay withtheir mother who is the family head and caretaker. This family they have no house and instead stay in house of aunt to Ruth who left village and travelled to town.

They have small piece of land from where they grow food which is just enough for the family, the mother has no job and meet hard time to pay home bills. When Ruth is sent for fees, she spend days with out attending school to look for money with her mother an most times fail.

With lot of bills at home right from healthcare, basic needs and additional food, Ruth’s mother is not in position to support her education.Ruth is requesting for sponsorship.

Angel was born on 18th, September,2010 and she is 15years now a young girl staying with both her parents.

She has just joined secondary thisyear, her parents are peasant farmers with no salary paying job and just cannotsupport her education. In family there are 08 children in total, 03 childrenare older than Angel. With high poverty in this family,children are made just to attend primary education which doesn’t make an impactas a child remains with no employment chance in adulthood promoting povertycycle. All elder brothers and sister ofAngel stopped in primary,she is the first to join secondary and with limitedsupport from parents. Angle is likely to stop in year one and she is requestingfor sponsorship.

Namubiru Resty who has just finished her second year of secondary education is an orphan, her father died when she was in her last year of primary education.

At home, they are eight children and mother isthe care taker unfortunately mother is uneducated and she rely on crop growingand a small piggery project.

Her mother is saying with big number of siblings she cannot manage to continue with Resty and feels like she go and look for a job so that her young ones also reach at least secondary.

This is how poverty makes a cycle in poor Uganda families, Resty has no any skilland her wish is to become a nurse in future but has no hope to continue with studies.

Resty leave in Bugomola village in Kalungu, she was born on 11th/July/2008 and is a catholic.

David is a young boy who has just completed his first year of secondary education, he is bright but an orphan with no help.

His father died when very young unfortunately his mother got mental health challenges and currently is mad person but stays together in house and when effect rise he call neighbors to help his mother.

He has a sister called Nakintu Resty and in weekends together with his sister they work in other people’s gardens for fees and personal needs and face hard moment to manage the two.

Resty is a bright girl with almost no parents, her father died when very young unfortunately her mother got mental health challenge andcurrently is mad person.

Resty stay with her aunt. In weekends, Resty and her brother Ssemuju David look for garden jobs to buy personal requirements for use at school and home.

This year 2025 she has completed her first year of secondary education and is requesting for sponsorship to continue with education.

She was born on 19th, April, 2010, currently is 15years and is a catholic .

Namatta Dorothy is a 14 year old girl, she was born on 22nd/September/2012 leaving in Kalumaga village, Kalungu. She is a bright girl and just completed her first year of secondary education.

Her parents divorced when she was in last year of primary. Her mother and siblings were sent away from home and mother is renting where she is now staying with her 07 children. Also renting garden where they grow food for family.

Dorothy’s mother is a peasant farmer with no salary paying job and she is not in position to pay for education of Dorothy. Painfully, she want Dorothy to stop in first year of secondary her younger ones also to finish primary level.

Dorothy want to study up to university to become of value to family and herself, she is requesting for sponsorship.

Kayemba is an orphan with no father. He stays with his mother who has tried her level best to see that he finish primary education.

The mother is a disabled and her prayers was to support Kayemba finish primary education. Kayemba has successfully finished his primary education this year 2025 and very firm that he will pass very well.

Kayemba was born on 3rd, July, 2012 leaving in Kyamagundu village within Kalungu district.

However, Kayemba is just 13years and want to continue with studies. He is requesting for sponsorship.

Namugenyi leave with her mother and 06 fellow young ones,she cannot tell where her father is.

Her parents divorced when she was inprimary six and stayed with mother at their home.

Namugenyi’s mother is a peasant farmer with no salary paying job and just she cannot meet needs of all children at home.

WhenFatumah is 15years old, she was born on 8th, March, 2010 staying with both of her parents.

Fatumah's family is very poor and everything is very hard right from food, healthcare, clothes, children wear torn clothes and young onesbarefooted.

Her parents work in other people’s gardens for food and some finances, they have no permanent jobs. Fatumah and her siblings total to 07children.

Whenever they are sent back for fees, it takes a week to 2 weeks for Fatumah to get a garden work which they do as family and on completion shereturn to school.

Fatumah has just completed senior one and is requesting for sponsorship to go ahead with studies.ever Sylivia is asked school fees she spend a big duration home looking for money together with her mom which affect her education.

Sylivia has just completed her second year of secondary education and is requesting for sponsorship to complete with studies.

She was born on 17th, April, 2009 and still 15years of old. With her mom, they leave in Bugomola village Kalungu district.

Nayebale Evon is has just finished her second year of secondary education, she was born on 24th/November/2008.

Her dream is to become a nurse in future but miss a school every week. Her parents divorced and she is staying with her mother and her three siblings.

She is the oldest and absentism is due to creating time to help her mom to casual work to get money not only for her fees but also food and other home bills.

In 2026, Evon is supposed to join her third year of secondary education but unsure whether she will join school with increasing demands and no one apart from her mother is helping out.

Her mom is not in position to give full support needed to girl child and is now concetrating much to younger ones of Evon.

Evon is requesting for sponsorship.

Walukagga is a young boy aged 15years staying with both his parents. He was born on 16th/June/2010 leaving in Kalumaga village in Kalungu district.

He has finished his second years of secondary but has been very rare at school looking for school fees himself. His parents are peasant farmers and no one has monthly paying job.

At home, there are 10 children some in school and others have not yet started, among those studying, Walukagga is the oldest and with high poverty in family they asked him to stop with primary.

Walukagga is much interested in education and his parents just not in position to make this happen, he want to become an engineer and change story of his family and life.

Walukagga is requesting for sponsorship.

Babirye Rauza is a young girl aged 14 years, she was born on 11th/July/2011 in Kirimanyaga village in Kalungu district.

Babirye leave with both her parents but they are very poor, no one of them is working and grand father is the one helped her to finish primary education and her brother Kato Rayan whom they share story.

Grand father being old, he had promised to help these twins finish primary education and of recently they sat their financial examinations waiting for results in January 2016. Babirye want to join secondary education but has no sponsor, she is asking for help. In back ground is their house with first room of left being sleeping room, then store and lastly kitchen.

Kato Rayan is a young boy aged 14 years, he was born on 11th/July/2011 in Kirimanyaga village in Kalungu district.

Kato leave with both his parents but they are very poor, no one of them is working and grand father is the one helped her to finish primary education and his twin sister Babirye Rauza whom they share story.

Mukisa Achileo is an orphan and has finished senior two class.

He has no father and his mother is a peasant farmer not in position to pay for his education.

Mukisa's mother sent him to his grandparents on side of father for help and currently he is staying with grandparents since beginning of 2025,

Unfortunately grandparents are not in position as well to effectively support education of Achileo as they have grand children they are caring for already.

Achileo is requesting for sponsorship.

Fatumah is 15years old, she was born on 8th, March, 2010 staying with both of her parents.

Nabayego Grace is in senior two leaving in Kiryamasonzi village in Kalungu. She stay with both of her parents and 06 youngones.

Her parents are poor with no jobs and non of her elders has ever completed with studies.

Parents of Grace want her to stop in senior two which she feel bad to adopt. Grace is looking for a sponsor to go on with her studies.

Busingye Jovanis is in senior two, joining her third year of secondary education in 2026.

Her parents divorced and she doesnot get any assistance from dad.

At home they are many children, 09 siblings andall of them are catered for by mother and she cannot do more to help with Jovanis's education.

Jovanis misses school alot to work with her mom to get school fees and meeting home bills and she like so much attending school, kindly help Jovanis.

Jovans was born on 12th/Feb/2008 leaving in Kyato villagee in Kalungu district.

Juma was born on 2nd/Feburuary/2008 and this year 2025 has completed senior two.

His parents divorced and is staying with his mother. He cannot tell where his father is.

Juma’s mother is a peasant farmer with no salary paying job, she is not in position to pay for his education.

Juma uses weekends to fetch and sell water in Bugomola for some money as water scarcity is still challenging this community.

Juma is requesting for help.

Noeline a 15year old girl this year completed her second year of secondary education.

She was born on 25th/Dec/2009, her parents divorced when she was in primary seven.

Her mother is renting and stays with her and 3 siblings. They have a small space for agriculture, food they grow is just enough for the family with no surplus to sell for home bills.

Noeline is facing very hard time with education, whenever she is sent home for fees she spend many days looking for money with hermother.

Noeline want to study in future to join a college ofInformation and Communications Technology, she is perfect at ICT and is requesting for support.

Lydia is 15years old and an orphan.

She lost her father at the start of her last year in primary and 2025 she has finished her first year of secondary education.

Her mother is just a farmer with no monthly paying job and care about 4 other children and home bills, she is not in position to help Lydia as dad used to do.

Lydia is good in games and sports, she like so much netball and after secondary she want to specialize in physical education and become a netball coach at national level. She is requesting for support to study.

Bizimungu Kelly is a total orphan with no father and no mother. Next year 2026 he will sit his final examinations of ordinally level, the first four years of secondary education in Uganda but unsure whether he will.

Everyday after school time, Kelly using his bicycle fetch and sell water in Bugomola trading centre.

Kelly is requesting for sponsorship not only supporting him do his final examinations but to study upto graduation
