The idea of starting up this non-profit started with the founder (Mr. Kabuusu Dick) who grew up from a poor family and lost his father when he was still young.

He was blessed and got sponsors under organisation called Projekthilfe Uganda who supported his education from primary at St. Kizito Mugigi Kyamulibwa Kalungu district to university where he graduated in 2016 as a secondary school teacher for mathematics and economics.

After graduation from Kampala university, he then decided to start a non-profit as a way of givingback to help more less privileged children whom they share same background to have chance of attending education and basic needs. He believes if such children are not supported, just a small portion of them can escape their circumstances and became economically successful adults and it's so hurting.

Through Stand Alongside Foundation Uganda, Dick is working towards changing stories of less privileged children just to look similar to his new storyand he believe that one day the world will become a better place for all.
